I established my business in 2001 and decided to go down the modified car route as well as the everyday servicing and repairs. I have had several show winning modified Vauxhalls which have all been magazine featured , and all stood out from the crowd. In 2004 I decided that a new challenge was needed and decided to sell my much loved Vauxhall Cavalier turbo and buy myself a Beast from the East.
I decided after working on a customers R33 GTR Skyline that it was an R33 Skyline that I was going to buy, I decided however that the much understated and much under estimated R33 GTSt was the way forward for myself. I search high and low on the internet and found the car I have now
(show car) at a dealer up North and decided to go for it! I brought the car back to Grimsby after waiting a fair while for it and immediately set about changing its looks and performance. The bug for this car grew stronger and stronger and I did more and more to the car and spent more and more time making the car possibly the cleanest in the UK according to several magazines the car has been featrured in.
The bug these cars generate is incredible and in 2006 I bought my second R33 GTSt (Track car)
and decided to make myself a fun/track machine as I couldn’t risk damaging the show car which I had spent hours getting into the condition it is in now!
I bought the car from a guy on the Skyline owners forum and brought it back to Grimsby and set about stripping out the seats and fitting all parts for safety on the track.
I have done so much to both cars and absolutely love the Skyline as a car and have several now that I look after for my customers and some have come around due to me taking people out in my 2 cars and then they have gone out and bought one themselves
